Ingredients:
- 1 cup buttermilk, chilled
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), frozen
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Freeze butter and cut up to pea size with a pastry blender, cheese grater, or fork. Combine with the dry ingredients.
- Slowly add the buttermilk and just mix until a shaggy dough forms. Fold on floured surface.
- Press into 1" think and then fold 3-4 times, using a bench scaper to help fold the dough.
- Cut with 3" round biscuit cutter. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until golden.
- Serve with hot honey or jam.
