Dairy-Free Frozen Yogurt

This recipe was based on Ankarsrum's Frozen Yogurt with Banana Recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Ripe Bananas

  • 1/2 Cup Plain Dairy Free Yogurt

  • 1 Tablespoon honey  (optional)

Directions:

  • Place the freezer bowl in the freezer (about 0 degrees F) for 20-24 hours.

  • Peel and slice the bananas and place in a sealed container in the freezer for 2 hours. 

  • Using a blender, add the frozen banana chunks, yogurt, and honey and miss until you have a creamy batter.

  • Pour the batter into the ice cream bowl through the opening in the lid.

  • Let the machine run at medium speed for 20-30 minutes until the desired consistency is reached.

  • Eat right away, or put the freezer bowl with the lid in the freezer and save for later.
